Dell Must Escape “Commodity Hell”

Dell shares are getting hammered today.  Founded by the brilliant Michael Dell, the company needs to escape what I call “commodity hell.”  Read about it in RUSH, and in this essay for CNBC.com.  Dell has done a heroic job boosting margins but ultimately needs innovation.  Dude, why should I buy a Dell instead of an HP, Apple, Toshiba, Acer, iPhone — or a chalkboard and an abacus?
